On Saturday, July 12th, with great pleasure TheDFWdancers.com attended the fabulous “ULTIMATE WHITE PARTY” in Chicago, IL. hosted by, The Majestic Gents, VIP Productions and Black Mary of Chicago.

This was such a fine classy affair held in a beautiful elegant ballroom at the Tinley Park Convention Center in Chicago, IL.

I had a fantastic time! My evening was filled with such joy and excitement. I got the chance to see some old friends and made some new ones too.

Much respect to all the event organizers for hosting such a fine affair and making my visit to your state very memorable.

What an awesome Steppin’ experience I had with the Legendary Mr. L.C. Henderson!

On Saturday, July 11th, Houston dancer Ms. Juanita Wyatt and I, both attended Mr. L.C. "The Technician" Henderson the creator of the Chicago Steppin’ 8-count system Saturday afternoon Chicago Steppin’ Class at the Palmer Park District community center in Chicago, IL.

This was one of the most serious, and inspiring Chicago Steppin’ class I have ever attended for myself. I received some valuable education tools from Mr. L.C. Henderson’s “The Steppers Workshop IDEOLOGY” handbook that helped me to focus more on the dance true foundational structure, and prompt me to correct some of the bad habits which I have picked up along the way.

His classroom structure provided all attendees with the best possible educational aids that would help them to understand the true fundamental principles of Chicago Steppin’.

I truly adored all the lecturing and direct hands-on training/experience. However, now that I’m back in Dallas, where do I go from here?

On Friday, July 10th, TheDFWdancers.com attended the “Official Ultimate White Party Weekend Opener” at its new location "THE LOFT” hosted by, The Majestic Gents founder Mr. Pete Frazier.

Please note that, at short notice as a result of unforeseen circumstances the “Official Ultimate White Party Weekend Opener” had a venue change.

Furthermore, let me start by saying that, I have the utmost respect for Mr. Pete Frazier and The Majestic Gents for the way they decided on how to best handle this matter for their in-town and out-of-town patrons and kept the party on its regular schedule at the new location.

That being said, they had a packed house, and the event was just FABULOUS!

Music engineer DJ Larry D Cross was on the 1’s & 2’s and he’s a bad mother…SHUT YOUR MOUTH!

On Thursday, July 9th, TheDFWdancers.com spent a marvelous evening in Chicago at the “STEPPER SWAGGER THURSDAY” social at The New Dating Game Night Club located on the South Side of Chicago with Tony Nicholas a.k.a DJ Nick, and DJ Steve Breeze Brewer who was in the BOX!

Furthermore, with great pleasure, I'm very pleased to say that the DJ, ATMOSPHERE, and COMRADESHIP were all on point! Houston dancers Ms. Jackie Taylor-Brown, Ms. Juanita Wyatt and myself had a “FABULOUS” time with this group of Chicago Steppers!!!

Special thanks, DJ Nick, for selecting this great spot, and taking the time out to introduce us to all the wonderful folks, who made us feel so welcome!

On behalf of Stepper Swagger Thursday I would like to say THANK YOU to those of you who came out last night to get your step on with us. Was good to see each and everyone of you. Special shout out to Beverly Hilton of The DFW Dancers and friends who are visiting with us all the way from Texas, thanks for all the pictures can't wait to see them and thanks Tony Nicholas for bringing them along with you. Had an awesome time. Congratulations! to my co-host Mary Staples on completing her CNA course I am very proud of you and wish you all the best. Hope to see everyone again next week. Remember mark your calendar for Thursday July 23rd Stepper Swagger will be celebrating our 1yr anniversary along with my birthday and we would LOVE to have you come celebrate this special occasion with us. See ya week fbf and have a TERRIFIC WEEKEND!!!
