On Sunday, May 17th, TheDFWdancers.com attended JADE PRODUCTION, 3rd Sunday North Side Day STEPPERS Set at the Taste of the Island in Plano, Texas.
I truly enjoyed my afternoon with this group of DFW steppers. The comradeship, music, buffet and the atmosphere in the room were just great!

On Saturday, June 6th, TheDFWdancers.com attended a Chicago Steppin’ workshop taught by, Ms. Candace Hinton and Mr. Feo Duncan from Flint, Michigan at JUST DANCE in Duncanville.
I have to say what an honor and privilege it was to have these two WLSC Champions here in the DFW area, sharing their unique Chicago Steppin’ dance techniques with all of us who had the opportunity to join them at their workshop, or was granted a private lesson with the two.
Much respect to, Ms. Ronisha Ross for planning and hosting a fabulous Chicago Steppin’ workshop, and giving us the opportunity to share the dance floor all weekend long with two renowned dancers from Flint, MI.

On Saturday, August 1st, TheDFWdancers.com stopped by, Just Dance in Duncanville to spotlight the SENSATIONAL Mr. Andre “Dre” Blackwell Steppin’ workshop.
I was quite impressed by the time I arrived. I could tell that Mr. Blackwell’s Steppin workshop had already made a positive impact on those in attendance.
Hours earlier, he must have given them his best Steppin’ elements and principles that he had to offer. That being said, their step movements were looking pretty FABULOUS to me like they had been through a serious STEPPIN’ BOOTCAMP, and due to my tardiness, I missed out on a great opportunity to be taught by one of the best of the best.
Special thanks, to the SENSATIONAL Mr. Andre Blackwell for accepting the invitation from Mrs. Sonia Smith at Just Dance to come to the Dallas-Fort Worth area to share his God-given talents with us...Ms. Beverly

The Set was just breathtaking! Sounds played by, guest DJ Steppin’ George Hillard had a tremendous impact on the atmosphere in the room, the presence of The Sensational Mr.Andre Blackwell just added more sparks to the dance floor, and DJ Tore Douglas did an awesome job as the MC and kept things movin’.

On the morning of Saturday, January 30, 2016 TheDFWdancers.com stopped by, the Elephant Room in Lancaster, Texas where the ESQUIRES of DFW was hosting a Chicago Steppin’ workshop featuring ARTISTIC MOTIONS, Smooth Chicago Steppin’ instructor/President, Mr. Victor A. James Sr.
I truly enjoyed my visit as I looked on as Mr. Victor A. James gave some of the best Chicago Steppin’ instructions to the class.
His lecture was very informative and all of his hand-on Chicago steppin’ demonstration just made the dance moves/steps make more sense.
He taught an AWESOME class and I just wish that more of us who are very serious about learning Chicago Steppin’ could have attended his workshop.
