On June 19th, TheDFWdancers.com traveled to Killeen, Texas to attend The Stepp-Up-Stepper's of Killeen 2nd Annual Juneteenth Weekend celebration.

First on the agenda was to attend a Chicago Steppin’ workshop taught by, guest instructor Mr. Keith Hubbard from Chicago, Illinois.

The workshop was just Fabulous, and well attended for a Friday afternoon. Furthermore, at hand and working with some of the male dancers was Mr. Tony Hearn with The Las Vegas Universal Steppers.

TheDFWdancers.com was on hand when The Stepp-Up-Stepper's of Killeen kicked off their 2nd Annual Juneteenth “Steppers Soulful Reunion” meet & greet celebration on Friday, June 19th at the Knight Of Columbus Hall in Killeen, Texas.

“I must say that," my evening was very relaxing. I enjoyed the MC, along with the music selections played by both DJs, and the soul food buffet was pretty delightful too!

Special thanks to, The Stepp-Up-Stepper's of Killeen and co-host Word Of Mouth Entertainment LLC, for choosing our state to host this wonderful event.

On the morning June 20th in Killeen, Texas at The Stepp-Up-Stepper's of Killeen 2nd Annual Juneteenth weekend celebration, I attended a Chicago Steppin’ workshop taught by, Mr. Iary “Kat N Tha Hat” Israel and Mr. Keith “The Navigator” Hubbard.

What a treat it was to have these two inspiring Steppin’ instructors and businessmen on the dance floor at the same time. They both were very excellent in teaching many valuable skills to the workshop patrons.

Much respect to, Ms. Nicola Thomas whose Steppin’ style was also displayed.

Please pardon me “Hell Yeah” LadyMargaret Fisher is the best in the business for a female Steppin’ workshop!

She is a top-notch Chicago Steppin’ instructor, and I would highly recommend her services to anyone. She’s the real deal!

“IMPACT AWARD” for his enormous influence.

He has been very active in bridging the gap within the Steppin’ communities from state to state over the past several years.

“MAIN EVENT” was a grand success!

In all sincerity, this event really felt like a reunion, and I could tell that a lot of hard work went into the overall planning stages.

The highlight of the evening for me was when Mr. Keith “The Navigator” Hubbard was recognized for his many contributions to the Chicago Steppin’ communities across this nation. This has to have been a very proud moment for Mr. Hubbard. Once Mr. Iary Israel read out loud his bio, all I could do is smile at him and say PRICELESS!

Much respect to, these four beautiful ladies for making my visit to Killeen, Texas very pleasant Ms. Sonya Gaines, Ms. Stacey Ponger, Ms. Flo Mobley and Toni DaTigress.

Special thanks to, The Stepp-Up-Stepper's of Killeen and co-host Word Of Mouth Entertainment LLC, for bringing a fun filled three-day event to the Texas area.
